This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Its hard to know what something is from unless you've been exposed to it. I've seen the film, yes, but I saw it only a few years ago.
It isn't as if this is shown on Prime Time TV every Christmas. We don't have vans that park down every street and deploy into mini-theatres.
Some things you have to hear about by word of mouth. If you've seen it, and others haven't, you should suggest it to them. You shouldn't condemn them for being unwillingly ignorant.

At one point in their life everyone has to face the idea that their life is purposeless. What they don't know is that this is the first step to making their life meaningful.
Perhaps it's just because I'm a media student, but Citizen Kane is the supposed 'greatest film of all time'. It seems ignorant to not even be aware of it.
Plus, the scene the slow clap comes from is actually quite memorable. For me, at least.
I didn't like the movie, personally. I would never call it "the greatest film of all time". And I watched it a year ago for a class. And I barely remember any of it. :/
To not be aware of something is nearly the definition of ignorance. You're a media student, therefore, you study media. This means that you're going to get exposure.
I'm an English Education major, however, I can't expect everyone to appreciate 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra' unless they've actually read it. I could argue all day about how influential it is in our Western history and/or culture, however, unless someone has actually read it I can't expect them to have an opinion on it.
And the slow clap will only be memorable if you have a memory of it, and therefore, have seen it. I'm sure its an important memory for you, and the movie is quite revered by you as well.
But again, my key point I'm trying to make is that it is unfair to condemn people for not being aware of something they haven't been exposed to. Keep in mind that some people that frequent this site are very young and haven't been exposed to A LOT of things.
After all, you're a student. I would think that you'd be aware of the process of having to learn, turning ignorance into experience. Have you not read Allegory of the Cave? Plato points out that its up to the educated to bring illumination upon those in the dark. Its what our educational system is founded on.
In fact, I hope you haven't read it because it would really highlight my point to you about ignorance of "important things". If you have, then I hope you go back and take it to heart. Suggest things to the ignorant. Illuminate their minds, and show them the things you have seen.
Knowledge isn't a privilege. It is a responsibility. Share it.

I think I read it in like, 10th grade. I always feel so smart when people mention it and I know what they're talking about. 'Cause a not a lot of people HAVE read it. D:
As for that "Thus Spoke Zarathustra", I've HEARD of it, but I've never read it. I recognize the name.
And I'm betting there's a lot of people.
